Doula Services
As your Doula, I am available to attend your birth, however long, as well as at least two antenatal meetings. Also included would be one postnatal visit to your home. I would be on-call 24hours a day from 38-42 weeks and once you have retained my services I would be available to your be phone and email during reasonable hours.
The cost for this service is £150.
As your postnatal Doula, I would work with you for approximatly two hours per day at least twice a week for a maximum of four weeks. As each mother's requirments are different, I would work out a bespoke service with you once your baby has arrived, or sooner!
The cost for this service is £10 per hour.
The initial introductory meeting for both the above services, between yourself and myself is free of charge.
Birth Preparation Classes
I offer one-to-one birth preparation classes, which are available even if I am not your doula!
I would meet with you and your husband /partner for a minimum of two sessions before the birth. This might be useful if you have had a difficult or traumatic birth or if you are a first time mum in need of some reassurance! I am also a volunteer for the birth trauma association, and understand the need to feel ‘ready’ for birth.
Each class is tailored to you, giving you the unique assistance that can help you gain the knowledge you require, and help you prepare for an empowered birth experience.
The sessions can take place in your own home, in the evening if necessary. It is a lot more personal than a group class and allows me to concentrate on giving you the best information for your situation.
The cost is £25 pounds per one and a half hour session.
